outgrown the system
Your leadership has
that got you here.
Does this sound familiar?
As your responsibilities grow, it’s easy for critical information, decisions, and follow-up to live in your head, scattered across notes, inboxes, and conversations. This creates unnecessary stress and makes it harder to lead with clarity, consistency, and confidence.
THE PROBLEM —
✔️You can’t quickly see where projects stand.
✔️Important decisions and follow-up live in too many places.
✔️You’re carrying the system in your head instead of leading with clarity.
You’re managing more people, projects, information, decisions, follow-up, and priorities than ever before. When your work grows faster than the systems supporting it, it’s easy to spend the day hunting for information, keeping everything in your head, and getting stuck in reaction mode.
THE FRAMEWORK —
A Leadership Operating System brings five key systems together so you can stop reacting, create consistency, and lead intentionally. When these systems work together, you have a reliable way to capture information, move work forward, and focus on what matters most.
Your work isn’t one system. It’s five.

What leaders are saying.
I now have a clearer way to identify priorities, track follow-ups, organize projects, and prepare for the week ahead. My role will always involve interruptions and unexpected support needs, but I feel much more grounded and less overwhelmed because I have a system that helps me stay focused and return to what matters most.

Hi, I'm Kayla.
I'm Kayla Fahey-Ahrndt, host of the Get Organized at Work podcast and creator of the Leadership Operating System.
I've spent more than a decade leading in complex, fast-moving healthcare environments—managing people, projects, priorities, information, and work that rarely fits neatly onto a to-do list.
And I've learned something along the way:
The more your leadership grows, the less you can rely on yourself to simply remember, react, and hold everything together.
That's what led me to develop the Leadership Operating System—a practical framework for building the systems underneath the way you work and lead.
I don't believe you need to become better at carrying everything.
I believe you need systems capable of supporting the leader you've become.
And that's exactly what we're going to start building together in this live cohort.
